Ad choices

Last updated: 24 October 2026

Every ad on our network is labeled "Sponsored".

Ads are chosen by context only: the site and format, the page language, your country (from your connection), your device type and the time of day. We never use your browsing history, interests, age, gender or other personal characteristics.

You can turn off the advertisement widget on the start page in Customize. Sponsored shortcut tiles and search suggestions are part of what keeps the start page free.

To report an ad that is misleading or inappropriate, write to [email protected] with a screenshot and the address of the page.
